A Letter From Our Founder.

Every meaningful chapter of my life has begun with a step into the unknown.

Most of the time, these chapters started on paths where I could not fully see in front of me and certainly not see the end. But like any "road less traveled," particularly those that stir something good deep inside our souls, we venture forward. Not because we have a perfect knowing of the outcome or sometimes even the next step, but simply because of a calm certainty that we are on the right path. It's a feeling of conviction that something should exist that doesn't — a place, a company, a version of myself I hadn't built yet — and a willingness to start before I had every answer.

I've come to believe this process is the only way anything lasting and meaningful is formed. You don't discover the things that matter most. In a wonderful way, they discover you and emerge when you're ready. But once they find us, we have to have the discipline to refine them and the tenacity to shape them through persistent effort. In other words, you forge them — through work, through determination, through the willingness to strike again and again until it holds its shape.

That's true of a company. It's also true of a life. To me, that's creation.

I named this company Forge because it's the most honest word I know for how anything enduring actually comes to be. Nothing worth building arrives finished. It's shaped — through repeated, constant effort and grit — until it becomes something stronger and more resilient.
